After observing the Lord Jesus one of the disciples asked him, "Teach us to pray Lord." This sermon explores the nature of biblical Christian prayer. Prayer is defined as speech addressed to God. It is relational in nature and at its heart is the presentation of the whole person in an answering response to God's prior words of truth and grace. Practical suggestions are given on learning to pray.

Wonderful Sermon As a man who feels a need for a revitalization of his prayer life, this sermon was like water on dry ground. It is pastoral, practical, and inspiring. I am sensing a strengthening of my own relationship to God and looking forward to drawing near to Him in times of prayer.
