In this message, Pastor John shares Christ's message about a sower to the great multitude. The sower was working for somebody else. The sower planted the seeds and hoped they’d grow, but not every seed that was planted would take hold and grow. Some was eaten by birds, some didn’t root well & died and some grew up among weeds that choked the plants out. The good news is that some was sown on good ground and it yielded a crop, some more than others. The crop would then need to be gathered or harvested. The seed must be pure to get pure results. If we sow the truth of God’s Word, we will reap God’s fruit. However, the opposite is also true; sowing evil produces evil. Sadly, the Word of Almighty God has been changed to be different from the original message of Christ. This altered or modified message is impure & therefore, the crop it produces is tainted. The statistics in this country that relate high numbers of people calling themselves “Christian” testifies to this. The fruit of true Christ-likeness is being discouraged. The rampant, unrepentant sin inside of the church is almost equal to the world outside of the church. Christ’s message was “repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” But the contemporary message is live your own way; sin it up because you’re under grace. That’s an apostate, blasphemous message. To get the results Christ spoke of in His parable of the sower, we need to start with good seed by using God’s Pure Word. To learn more listen to this hard-hitting message!
