Habakkuk the prophet had been suing his complaint to Jehovah that the Lord seemed unconcerned about the wickedness of His own covenant people in Judah. God's reply to Habakkuk regarding sending the Chaldeans to judge Judah appeared even more problematic to the prophet. But in the second chapter of Habakkuk, the Lord finally breaks forth and clearly announced "woes" against violent aggressors of all kinds. Although God shows great patience and forebears with wicked sinners, His justice remains as immutable as His holiness. In this sermon we learn of the just judgment of God against vicious men.
