As we know and meditate on God's Word, we learn His will and can pray with confidence. We rejoice that the Lord invites us to pray, and He is delighted to accomplish His will in response to the prayers of His people. We obviously don't know His will in every detail, but we can confidently pray about the things He has revealed in the Bible, and when it is obvious that it is time to stop praying for a situation or a person, we refrain and trust our Lord for what is best.
