After feeding the five thousand Jesus made his disciples get into a boat to cross the lake ahead of Him to Bethsaida. At 3 AM, the darkest part of the night, they were 3 1/2 miles away in a fearful storm, worse than any these fisherman had experienced, and Jesus came to them walking on the water. When we have storms in life we need to call out to Him for he knows all our fears and he will never forsake the work of His own hands.
