Rightfully we are concerned about using our life as a witness for God and His glory and as a testimony of His grace in our lives. This truly is the greatest challenge and responsibility that the Lord has given to each of us young and old alike. But though we don't often think about it, our death may in some cases be an even more powerful witness of God's grace. Though we know that death is an enemy and the result of sin and God's curse, we also know that in Christ death is an enemy that has been conquered. By faith we also declare with the Apostle Paul, for me to live is Christ and to die is gain. In both life and death we belong to our faithful Savior Jesus Christ. In both life and in death His promises to us never fail. Death is also an opportunity for you to show your faith in God's Promises.
We will look at Genesis 22:20-23:20 in three parts. 1. God Prepares the Way for the Promise, 22:20-24 2. Remember the Life and Death of Sarah, 23:1-2 3. The Death of a Loved One Is an Opportunity for Faith, 23:3-20
