However, God blesses meekness in the lives of His people. Meekness is not weakness; it is power under control.The Greek word for meekness was often used to describe a farmer breaking in a colt. The horse was power under control.The meek man focuses his attention on Christ.Meekness is cultivated through difficult experiences. Difficulties in life will either cultivate meekness or rebellion.Meekness seeks nothing for self and receives all things from God.The greatest example of meekness the world has ever known is Jesus!
