Exegesis: God judges us according to our own words, which must be corroborated by another (v. 15); which may be arbitrated by the church (vv. 16-18a); and which eventually find their targets (vv. 18b-19). God judges us according to our own standards. This should make us humble (v. 20) and merciful (v. 21) people.
