God's 'silence' is, at times, when God's greatest moving in our hearts occurs. To have compassion and pity cultivated in us, we must abide in Christ. When these are made effectual by faith, we will see the results. Listen to this amazing statement: 'God has set no limitations on prayer offered up in faith in Him and His promises.' Next to bringing glory to the Father, Christ's greatest priority was 'to seek and to save that which was lost.' Should it not be ours also? We leave off prayer too quickly. We must keep on, as did this Canaanite woman, if we are to see results that could only come from God. When she was 'denied,' she WORSHIPPED Him! O, that we would be enabled to do the same, and to have her results!
