It is interesting the Supreme Court decision to attack the sanctity of marriage and promote homosexuality was in June. June is already known as LBGT month. That stands for lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, and Transgender. President Obama declared June, LBGT month, in 2011. I was a little surprised that when I googled those letters, that Google gave them some special treatment framing the search bar with the rainbow; LGBT and homosexuals in general have pre-empted as their symbol the rainbow. That is an Ironic choice; because that beautiful symbol of God’s promise that God hangs in the sky after every rain was given after God wiped out a wicked generation. And it promises his judgment to come. For as he said he would never flood the whole earth again, one day he will not destroy the earth with flood water but a deluge of fire. I’m not willing to give up the rainbow. It is a promise of judgment, which comforts me that God will not always allow the wicked to harm the world and His people; there will be an end to all injustice. And it reminds me that God fulfills all his promises. And therefore will fulfill his promise to deliver his people who escape through the one door Christ and find shelter from the flood of his wrath in our Ark, who is Christ. Whenever you see a rainbow that’s what it should remind you of: God’s promise of deliverance, and His promise of judgment.
