The family in America is collapsing. Divorce and dysfunction are the signposts of the nation being destroyed. At the foundation of the demise of the family lies the sins of idolatry. When two Christians are married they bring with them expectations and baggage, the husband often hopping that his wife will not change and the wife often already planning on how she will change her husband. Rarely do they realize how they have brought their idols into marriage and the idols are always cruel, never delivering the joy they promise. On this special edition of Generations Dave Buehner discusses the state of marriage and idolatry, they might be more related than you thought.

Great Sermon! Christians are getting just as bad---we need to marry younger and not fornicate--most people do NOT have the gift of celibacy, and have to worship together--the HOUSES ARE TOOOOO BIG for the space!! and not enough children--people dont realize that youre siblings are going to be the aunts and uncles of your CHILDREN and help you raise them and give you fellowship (if christian) and breaks..i've spent time with aunts and uncles when growing up--when you have only 2 children instead of 4, its not the same

Great Sermon! Thank GOD FOR YOUNG PEOPLE like Ben Shapiro!! there needs to be more young MEN like him---I havent watched tv much after 1985--when the program SOAP came out--I knew it was the BEGINNING OF THE END!!--as long as the Hayes Code was in place,(1933-1966) it was safe--except there wasnt as much representation of minority families--(blacks were ones, when represented to look more Christian though)when some kids, listen to porn music, i call them out on it, especially when the songs are sung--I call them out on it--the girls suffer from depression for a reason!! boys too
