The Lord knows what's going on. He can see your heart. Don't fight it. He's prepared good works for you to do. He has a mission for your life. A specific mission that He's prepared for you since before you were born, and a general mission given to all Christians in Isa 61:1-3
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
I would like my life to be a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor....His splendor is great....We must come to Him with a broken and contrite heart, so that He can make us whole. Jesus Christ is alive, and He's appealing for us before our Father God. We must be willing to come before Him and allow Him to change our lives. Allow Him to make our lives into something that means something.
