There are many types of suffering. Some suffer physically, some mentally, and others spiritually. The heartache of suffering is known by all in some way. The history of suffering is traced to the first family on God's earth. There would never have been any suffering had not they deliberately disobeyed God's Word. The hope of the saved, who suffering in any form, is that one day there will be no more suffering. Suffering is for a season, a little while and a night. All godly Christians will suffer because of their position in the body of Christ. Almost all have a period associated with them. Suffering will cease.
