Now, I'm A Servant Jn. 12:20-26; Gala. 3:26 In this Scripture we see a three-fold truth. As the shadow of the cross is falling on our Savior, He speaks of those desiring to see Him, mentioned in John 12:20-21. Here certain Greeks, not Jews but Gentiles, desired to see Him. Our Lord then speaks of His death and resurrection in John 12:23-25. I believe the emphasis of our key verse is on "if any man," not "if any Jew." Salvation through faith in Christ is today for everyone no matter what side of town you're from or race , color or nationality. Our prayer should be, "0 God, our Father, help us to abide in our calling of service until you call us home." We need to hide these words in our hearts, and constantly draw strength from them. What are you doing to be a servant of God's Grace around you?
