Resurrection was anticipated in the Old Testament but details were forthcoming as God progressively gave additional revelation. To Daniel it was revealed there would be two separate resurrections, one for the people of God and a final resurrection for all the ungodly who have followed Satan in his rebellion. The details of when those would take place were not revealed until the final revelation given to John. The people of God who are a part of the first resurrection will experience the reunion of their spirit with their resurrected, now imperishable physical body. Later revelation indicates that all unbelievers from the entire breath of human history will be resurrected to stand individually before Christ for sentencing in the eternal lake of fire. Revelation given to the apostle John gave details that there will be a 1000 year separation between these two resurrections foretold to Daniel. The Old Testament saints will be resurrected with the Tribulation martyrs before 1000 year kingdom and all unbelievers at this end of the first phase of the eternity. What is known for certain is there will be no exceptions – every human being conceived will experience resurrection and judgment.
