God is ready to lead His people out of Egypt and to the Promised land of Canaan. He has prepared the man Moses to confront the Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out from under the increasing oppression they have been enduring. Having spent the second forty year phase of his life being prepared by God to lead the nation, God now calls Moses to step up and assume the responsibility of leadership. These chapters reveal to us the greatness of God's plans, purposes and enabling power as He works with this man and his finite, imperfect humanness. We can appreciate again the assurance that God's purposes will be accomplished in and through our lives as well. That His grace is always sufficient for the task He calls us to, and whatsoever God intends, will be the outcome!
