Notice how Paul words this here – "All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." In the New American Standard Bible it reads – " And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Not only that all things work together for good, but that God causes all things to work together for good. This goes along with Philippians 2: 13 – "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure." He is working in you for good and working to this end, that the will of His good pleasure will be fulfilled in you. He who has predestinated will effectually call, and He who effectually calls will also justify, and He who justifies will also glorify each and every one of His elect people; His saints.
