In this last sermon in the series, God's Plan for the Ages, we again ask the question, 'How Shall We Live?" in light of Christ's soon return! Jesus IS coming again and it could be today!! But how does knowing that Jesus is returning affect the way that we live. From James 5, we learn that we need to be patient in our evangelism, for the harvest is coming. We also need to strengthen our convictions and commitments as they are constantly being challenged by our adversary and the world surrounding us. Our convictions or beliefs are strengthen in partnership with God and with other believers. We cannot be 'lone ranger' Christians. We need the encouragement of one another. We need to commit ourselves to lives of holiness and purity. We need to be people of integrity, living out our convictions by the commitments we make. And as we anticipate Christ's return, we need to keep on keeping on, enduring to the end, finishing the race God has for us! Sufferings will come, but we cannot give up, give in, but continue to give out until Jesus returns.
