In this sermon we are encouraged to see the Lord Jesus Christ victorious over the temptations of Satan. We see how necessary our Savior's triumph over the tempter is - to give us His righteousness. We see the great suffering of our Lord Jesus to reverse what Adam had done in the garden. As He triumphed over the temptations of Satan in a world left in the ruined state the Adam left it in. Finally, we are exhorted to recognize that in temptation Christ stands ready to help us - having experienced temptation Himself. Preached from Luke 4:1-13 on 05/16/21.
Outline: 1. The suffering Christ 2. The succoring Christ.
