The synoptic gospels Matthew Mark and Luke, don't have a lot to say about the time between Jesus' baptism and His return to Galilee. The gospel of John from Chapter 2:12 to chapter 4:1, gives us an accounting of the things that Jesus said and did there in The province of Galilee.
Starting in John 1, you have John Baptizing, you have a three day accounting where Jesus comes to be baptized, culminating with Matthew, Mark and Lukes account of the Baptism of Jesus. Then the Temptation which John Leaves out. Back to John you see, Jesus begins to call His disciples Vs, 35 to 51. Then we see that Jesus goes to Cana which is a province of Galilee, Chpt 2. Here Jesus makes water into the Best wine anyone has ever had, but he also establishes an divine purpose of distance between Himself and His earthly mother. This was done to manifest His glory and his disciples believed. There is no indication that everyone was privvy to this event, only apparently the disciples, Jesus' mother, the servants, and the master of ceremonies. But that did not last long. According to Luke 4:14-15, a report went out about Him throughout all the surrounding countries, and apparently presumably, Jesus fame as a miracle worker and a preacher began to be proclaimed. But I would say that the most important thing about Jesus was His zeal for His fathers house, and hot anger at the false teachings and merchandising of the temple. Where is this zeal?
Imagine the peoples reactions to hearing that Jesus rebuked the High Priest and rulers of the Synagogues. Imagine hearing that someone threw over the money changers tables, and ran out all the sellers. Imagine the reaction to seeing prophecy fulfilled
