This is a short chapter, and it's like God just dropped this chapter in to tell us a little more about Abraham. So read it and pay attention. Everything God tells us has a reason behind it. God tells us the truth about his people, faults and strengths, no sugar-coating. God tells us the plain old truth and the reason is because every one of us is no different than them. We have all failed at something. Therefore there is no reason for us to give up and quit trying. If you fail, you pray for forgiveness, repent, and try-try-try again. Never give up. No one ever reaches spiritual perfection in this life, and if they say they have, they are lying. We are to continually reach for Jesus Christ, even when we sin. ________________________________________
