Sin and death now reigned in the world, Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden to live by faith in God in a fallen world, to wait for the One to come, who would give His life to put away sin and defeat death. There is also no doubt in my mind that the LORD God put Satan on notice in THIS first sacrifice, for He did this by not leaving our first parents to themselves, nor to him. God showed Satan that he would be defeated by that Man who would come to be the Savior of the world!
