The Scriptures are breathed out by God and have great profit for perfecting the faith and life of the Christian capable of equipping the man of God for all good works. We as a church are dedicated to this principle and committed to the teaching of the historic Reformed faith. We confess that the Scriptures are the foundation of our faith and practice, and we hold to our beliefs because the Scriptures teach these truths. The Five Solas of the Reformation describe the position of the Reformed Faith
We stand on the principle that the scriptures alone are sufficient for faith and practice not the words and traditions of men. Christ alone is the only mediator and security of salvation and sanctification between God and men. Only Jesus is capable of making intercession on our behalf, and He alone is sufficient. It is by grace alone that salvation comes to man, and this grace from God is completely unmerited. It is by faith alone that men are able to repent, believe and receive grace. There is no work that man can do to receive grace, and faith is a gift by the hand of God. It is to the glory of God alone that this great salvation was wrought. All that we do must be done to the glory of God being brought under his will.
