This is the 3rd message in a series of sermons through the Book of 2 Timothy. The following was recorded at Island Baptist Church in Beach Haven, NJ. Visit us on the web at www.hopeoflbi.com.
Jesus said, "Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been faithful with worldly wealth, who will entrust you with true (heavenly) riches? And if you have not been faithful with the belongings of another, who will give you belongings of your own?" (Lk.16:12). Clearly, how we manage the resources we've been given in this life matters a great deal to God. There is a sense in which your whole life is a test of allegiance, which will have a significant influence on your eternal rewards. Because God loves to reward His children, we find reminders all over the Bible to follow the pattern of faithfulness we've been handed down by those who came before us. Join us this Sunday @ 10am to see what Jesus says about living with a singular devotion to Him alone.
