This is the 2nd sermon in a series of sermons through 2 Timothy. The following was recorded at Island Baptist Church in Beach Haven, NJ. Visit us on the web at www.hopeoflbi.com.
In order to mold His children, God sometimes melts them down through persecution. A Christian should never be surprised when it is God's will that he or she drink the same Cup as Christ. Jesus drank the Cup of suffering at the hands of those who hated Him, only to be lifted up in glory by the Hand of His Father who loved Him. Those who've answered God's call to follow Jesus, share in His suffering now with the promise of sharing in His future glory for eternity. Join us on Sunday, March 21, @10am to discover God's perspective when we suffer for the sake of His Son.
