Peace is greatly sought after among men, but even still it continues to evade them both politically and personally. This becomes even more prominent as we approach the Holidays. Peace escapes them as the peace they seek, though, is not true Peace. The apostle Paul here speaks of a spiritual Peach - Peace with God! God gives his children peace. We know that peace through our Lord Jesus Christ. This text is also connected with the Reformation that we celebrate this week. We have Peace because we are justified by Christ alone and none of our self. What a PEACE this is!
