Fresh Oil Psalm 92:10 Salvation is a Gift; it is not earned by any effort of ours; The gift of Salvation is like the gift of a Gold mine.If someone were to give you a Gold mine of incalculable worth, you would have a treasure, but the Gold would not do you any practical good unless you worked it out of the mine.Likewise we need to get busy and set to work on our salvation.Salvation is a journey! And I must work on my Christian maturity and walk. Not to stay saved, there is no amount of work you can do to personally maintain your salvation! Jesus Christ did it all for you on the Cross of Calvary. We have the Holy Spirit so that we can Run the race to win!Our goal is clear. Christlike obedience and a Christlike quality of life. We work our salvation out with fear and trembling because there are enemies. We have to fight for what is ours but not using our own resources, opinions, and initiative. He has given us His Holy Spirit to indwell us, fill us, anoint us, and lead us into all truth. The upkeep in your life must be daily.
