It will be good for us if we can understand that we are living in similar days to Elijah, although not quite as radically evil as his were; at least yet. He was living in days where he was witnessing the apostasy of the nation of Israel from God. The false worship of Baals was being heavily promoted by King Ahab. We are living in days where the worship of false gods is being elevated to the level of public consideration; a time when people are leaving true Christianity behind. What we should do? Well, I want to set before you, in an overview, what Elijah was called to do as a prophet, and I believe that it will help us to know what we should do.
