The question that I would have you to consider on this Easter Sunday is this: What is it that you and I should do today; we who believe in the truth of our Lord’s resurrection from the dead? What should we do in the here and now? What should we do in response to this glorious and powerful truth? How can we show forth the power and glory of Christ’s resurrection to a watching and oft-times unbelieving world? I think that we can see from these verses 2 things which will help us show forth this wonderful truth. The 1st way that we can show forth Christ’s resurrection to people around us is that we would do the things which Joseph of Arimethea did; but do them in our hearts. The 2nd is that we would do the things that Mary did with our actions. May the Lord help me to open this up, and may the Lord open your hearts as I speak.
