Aim: To passionately cling to Christ, and to His continual cleansing of our souls.
Exegesis: Let us be committed to Christ's cleansing, abhorring (vv. 11-12) and forsaking (v. 13) what displeases Him. Let us be astonished at Christ's cleansing. It attracts attention (v. 14), it elicits conviction (v. 15), and it brings about separation (vv. 16-17). Let us be ambassadors of Christ's cleansing, bringing the gospel home (vv. 18-19) and shedding the gospel abroad (v. 20).
Key verse: v. 14 ''So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened.''
