Many have had the experience of sitting on a jury. A jury's duty is to reach a verdict. A verdict is a decision on a case or an issue. It means "to speak the truth." Sometimes we would rather remain neutral, but that does not work. Pilate found himself in that situation on an April morning in A.D. 33. He was forced to reach a verdict on Jesus Christ. He had to decide what to do with Him! Whenever a person comes in contact with Jesus Christ, whether he realizes it or not, he is faced with the most important decision of his life. If he decides to investigate further and eventually to open his life to Jesus Christ, his life and eternal destiny head in one direction. If he ignores, ridicules or rejects the matter, his life and eternal destiny go in the opposite direction. "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice." Neutrality is impossible. YOU have to decide what to do with Jesus Christ! And now is the time.
