The gospels are a glorious quartet of historical biographies about the Lord of glory working in earth as the cardinal of the salvation of sinners. Our Savior declared His deity and His commitment to suffer for all the sins of all the people given to Him by the Father of free grace. His ability to become their Surety of glory in behalf of His anointed is the undergirding message of every verse of each of the gospels and especially here in Jesus Christ our Mediator. His redemption is never wasted and none for whom He died will ever perish.
