Every person, other than Jesus, missed the primary reason why He came to the earth. As Jesus entered Jerusalem for Passover Week – a week that became the most important time in the history of the world – He was praised and celebrated as the One who came to save them. Unfortunately, the people believed, even against all the evidence of Jesus' words, that He was going to save the people of Israel from the oppression of Rome. When, in reality, He came to save His people from their sins. Their shouts of "Hosanna" would soon turn to "Crucify Him." Believers have the opportunity to praise Jesus regardless of our circumstances or perceived needs, believing He always knows and does what is best. If we don't praise Him, the rocks will take our place.
