Seeking a Vision. This is a portion of an Audio book That Dr. Jim Phillips AKA Traveling Dog or Shuka Meyeta Tanka has written. Dr. Jim was a spiritual leader and missionary among the Native American people for many years. This lesson on the Pipe Ceremony is one of those spiritual lessons that Dr. Phillips wrote so many years ago. Doc Jim now reads these lessons & explains them in his own words. We hope that you are enlightened with these Native American stories. Doc Jim many times fills in his sermons with these stories of the American Indian People and their Culture. This lesson is part of the booklet that Doc Jim wrote, "An Introduction to The Thoughts and Customs of the American Indian" by Traveling Dog. The complete E-Book PDF file of this book can be found in the Web-store. We sincerely hope that you enjoy these little Indians Sermonettes.

Great Sermon! No man is an island. I now fly eith eagle wings. I am learning so much from this series of sermons it is wonderful. Respecting nature and the order of life is so very important. White Americans have much to learn from our Native American brothers. It is so sad that far to many never really get the real underlying message. I thank you Dr. Jim for all the effort you have done to help spread the good word about God and Grandfather both to all of us who are willing to listen and learn. You are a wonderful inspiration for me to learn about life and respect God and all the good that comes to those who open their mind to him.
