Being blessed by God is not solely based on physical health or material wealth, but on qualities like humility, dependence on God, and a future-oriented perspective.Jesus's teaching was focused on pointing people back to God and living in a real relationship with Him. Love is the mark of a disciple, and Jesus calls us to love even our enemies and those who mistreat us. If we want to grow in our love for others, let us return and be reminded over and over again just how deeply, completely, and wonderfully God has loved us in Christ. We go back to what love really is, displayed and validated at the cross, and let that experience overflow into our interactions with others, even our enemies.
