In Christ Jesus there are many things that concern the Christian. Here we see that there are things that are available for the Christian to get. These things help to build our joy in Jesus, without Him we would not have any of these things that we need in order to live the lives that He would have us to have. That is not to say that hard times don't come our way but that despite it all we have reason to be joyful. We have a guaranteed finish in Christ Jesus. He doesn't start anything and not bring it to a finish. There is no ‘good enough' with Him. Anything short of hell is a blessing but it is all the more worth while knowing that we have some place to go when this life is over. He saved us, He keeps us, and He will deliver us to His and our Father. And with it being a matter of ‘our' Father we get to have gospel fellowship. That we have a partnership in Him that this world will never know in this life, but each and every person who is saved joins this gospel fellowship automatically. Just as Paul was burdened here in prison yet in gospel fellowship we too when in time of trouble can rely on the gospel fellowship. People praying for us that we don't even know are praying for us at the time because of this partnership we get in Christ. Jesus wants us to be full of fruit and to produce genuine fruit for Him and through Him. But at the same time we need to produce fruit that is ready to use. Are we doing that, or is what there is to be found only little buds still? The starting of fruit is nice but it needs to be something others can use. If we start and then give up we are not producing greater fruit. What are we doing with what we get in Christ Jesus?
