There are many teachings concerning teens and the transition of teens to adulthood. Some of these are taken from pagan rituals. Some of these are taken from modern psychology. Some of these are taken from pseudo-historical documents of Israel or other ancient near eastern cultures. This lecture bypasses all these systems. The author firmly believes that the doctrinal teachings of the holy, eternal, inerrant, written Word of God transcends both time and culture. As such he seeks as best he can to present a Biblical doctrine of the entrance into adulthood and the parents role in preparing the child for this entrance.
