This sermon was preached on Ash Wednesday to begin Lent. It continues our series, "The Greatest Sermon Ever Preached: The Sermon on the Mount" with the sixth part. As we move into Chapter 6, Jesus contrasts false and true righteousness. Specifically three spiritual disciples are addressed: alms giving, prayer, and fasting. None of these things are bad, but they can be practiced falsely (to build ourselves up in a "show" type of way) or rightly (to God).
