When we look at the apostle Paul we see a man who was filled with the Holy Spirit and his life was characterized by faithfulness, hardship and deliverance. He was faithful always to the calling and leading of the Holy Spirit. He endured hardship as a good holder of Christ Jesus. He experienced much deliverance that he might continue to be a light to the Gentiles. Today everybody seems to want deliverance in order to avoid hardship. This is not faithfulness to the gospel; it is turning the grace of God into a means of self fulfillment.
The apostle Paul led by example therefore there is nothing that God did in his life that He cannot do in us. It starts with a consistent and earnest cry of the heart "Lord what will you have me to do". We must make the choice to walk out of the self life and to walk into the power of God then we will see the Holy Spirit make the impossible not only possible but a reality in our lives.
