On 27 January 1945, the gates of the notorious Nazi genocide factory, Auschwitz, were opened by the Russian Army. 4000 emaciated souls were liberated. Tragically, 1.1million others - mainly Jews - had already been executed and incinerated during the previous few years.
60 years on, and 700 Auschwitz survivors have returned to commemorate their liberation. Each felt the necessity to go back; “We have to remember.”
This message not only recalls the Holocaust, but urges men to solemnly consider that Auschwitz is a fearful preview of a lost eternity - a veritable foreshadowing of hell.

Great Sermon! This was very thought provoking. Many today find it to be unbelievable that man could be so inhuman to another. "The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked" as Scripture tells us.
Keep preaching His mighty word as God gives you direction!

Great Sermon! A good sermon to not only remind us of the horrors endured by so many in the last century but to also remind us that the unsaved all around us are facing an eternity which far exceeds even the horrors of Auschwitz.
