Our text this week is Leviticus 1-15. As we read these chapters together, it is important to remember all of the blood that had to be shed, so that we would understand the seriousness of sin. While Christ fulfilled some of these sacrifices, some are about being thankful. Some are about being repentant. Some are about serving God. So as we read through these, we should be asking how do they pertain to our divine service now as priests of the order of Melchizedek with Christ as our High Priest. As we read the section on leprosy, since leprousy is a picture of sin, we should see how diligent we are to deal and remove sin in our lives. All Scripture is given that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. As we read through these chapters of Leviticus, let us consider how this is to equip us to be more faithful in serving God.
