We must embrace the death of Christ as being the only means of Christian living. (The Correction) v.15b. a. Being a Christian requires Jesus dying for me. v.16-17 b. My sin requires the death of an innocent to pay for my guilt. v. 18 • God's covenant deals with eternity so the penalty is severe. Vv.19-20 • there is no part of God's covenant that does not require lifeblood. v.21 3. We have been granted great blessing but at an extremely high price. (The Follow-Through)
