The place where the Living God chooses to dwell is holy space; it is a place where God's glory dwells. In Christ Jesus, God chooses to dwell in us. Believers are God's Living Temple-Sanctuary. We are to seek to be Holy as He is Holy so that God's glory will shine through us. As God's children in Christ, we have been set apart by God's Spirit to be obedient, sanctified, and blameless so that we will shine like lights in this dark world. At the beginning of another new year, the Lord has granted us time by His grace to become more holy as a congregation. Let us seek to make ourselves more and more fit for His holy presence, knowing that it is God who works in us to will and to work according to His good pleasure. Let us seek as a congregation to become more sanctified in the coming year.
