A disciple is a follower. When the Thessalonians believed, they became "followers of us, and of the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 1:6) In our text Paul exhorts the Corinthians to; "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." (1 Corinthians 11:1)
