Aim: To recognize the need to persevere in the daily walk of obedience in order to later obtain the blessing.
Exegesis: We are to bear God's burdens cheerfully. There are ''spiritual'' burdens (v. 6a) and ''ordinary'' burdens (v. 6b). We are to walk with God, boldly. We move at God's commands (v. 7a) and to God's destination (v. 7b). We are to announce God's kingdom triumphantly. This is to be done in harmony with God (v. 8) and in unison with each other (v. 9). We are to speak God's words, carefully. The need here is for self-control (v. 10a) and for God-expression (v. 10b). We are to obey God's commands, submissively, even when they are hard to understand (v. 11) and when them involve repetition (v. 12-14).
Key verse: v. 14 ''And the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. So they did six days.''
