INTRO: With the prophecy studies I am doing I hope you don't find it too much to listen to a prophetic message. I had planned to give this message quite some time ago and finally get to it now. The title of this message is, "Matthew 24, the Rapture & the days of Noah." There are a good many pretribulationists who might well roll their eyes if they saw this title. Maybe some listener is one of those and I ask you, hear me out. I have two purposes in this message. The first is to remind us that Jesus may take His bride home to glory this year. You were given a good reminder of that of that earlier this month. Around the 15th century, some 500 years ago, the Jews began to sing this phrase at Passover or at Yom Kippur, "Next year in Jerusalem." They sang that for several hundred years until Israel did in fact become their homeland. As we look around at a time when there is talk about world war three, I think Christians should have a saying, "This year in the New Jerusalem!" All year we should live with this hope, "This year in the New Jerusalem!" My second purpose in giving this message is to show how the parts of the title, "Matthew 24, the rapture, & the days of Noah," fit together.
