The Lord simply wants us to acknowledge that we are sinners and call out for His saving grace. The Lord will deliver if but look to Him. It doesn't matter what the future holds all we have to do is hold on to the one who holds the future in the palm of His hands. We might be raised with Godly influences in our lives but there comes a day when we have to make the choice for ourselves to serve God. We will not get to heaven on our parents righteousness.
