Exegesis: The glories of the Church's purpose: she constitutes God's redeemed family (v. 5a); she fulfills God's sovereign will (vv. 5b-6a); she exemplifies God's loving power (v. 6b).
Further application: How to fully participate in the Church's purpose: first, actually believe what God says about us, His atoned-for people; then, let us relax, and be ourselves (in Jesus).
