One year ago, we started our study through 1 and 2 Peter. Before we begin a new study looking at the life of Abraham, I thought it was important to provide a summary of both 1 and 2 Peter especially as they relate to these two issues of standing for truth and preparing for suffering. As I reviewed these two books again, I believe that most of what Peter writes in these two letters can be summarized under 7 sections. 1. Consider the Greatness of Our Salvation 2. Seek for Holiness and Spiritual Growth 3. Have Confidence in God's Word 4. Live as Loving Body 5. Look for Ways to Be a Witness 6. Be Aware of Deception and Attack 7. Follow the Example of Christ
