Tony began this open-air at the North Hollywood Metro Station by reading 1 John 5:13-21, focusing on John's command to keep away from idols. As Tony preached the law and the gospel, an African American little boy stood in front of him, listening. His name was Samuel. He was nine-years-old and in the fourth grade. He eventually approached Tony, with his mother watching and standing close by, extended his hand and thanked Tony for preaching. Samuel unhesitatingly and unashamedly testified to his faith in Jesus Christ. After a brief chat with Samuel and filling his pockets with gospel tracts, Tony used Samuel's precious example of faith to call all who were watching and listening to come to Jesus Christ with the faith of a child.
